Welp. I knew this was a dangerous place when I moved here, but still... had my first attempted home invasion tonight. Dunno who they are or what they were after (I speculate they might've been drug dealers wanting to get the guy that lived here before me??? Drugs happen in my neighbourhood), but I somehow managed to stop them. Happened way too fast, I don't really remember how atm... I'm just grateful I had the foresight to buy a hammer when I moved here. Police got here, took them away. Gonna make a full statement tomorrow when my heart's calmed down & I've had rest.

They got me pretty good tho. I've no idea what they got me with, but it still hurts like fucking hell. Guess I'm lucky it wasn't any worse.

Pretty sure this would have gone much worse if I didn't have anything to arm myself with. I bought it so I could fix stuff at home myself, but apparently it makes for a good self defence weapon.

Sooooo, I went to a Japanese Sushi & Grill today for lunch, food was damn amazing!

(Eating with chop sticks was quite a learning curve though!)

SL, when you log out, always makes a screen shot of the last view it sees, and sometimes, it makes for great screenshots.

In my case, this was from when I logged out the last time, I found it good enough to dig into my appdata and retrieve it, saving it as a png file (SL uses that clunky bmp format)
