For the next week, Lismore's islands (The city, the temple/cruentus island, High Garden) will be affected by an extremely severe blizzard. Temperatures will be as low as 35c and visibility will be extremely limited, and winds will be extreme to a damaging degree.
Please note that these are extremely dangerous conditions. Outside of carded and extremely high resistances to cold (not minor ones) and an ability to resist damage from the wind, no character will be able to remain outside for more than a couple minutes without succumbing to exposure or being lost due to low visibility.
Most buildings in Lismore are willing to shelter anyone caught outside in the storm. Preparations have been made throughout most of Lismore to fortify structures for the event.
Another announcement will be made when the storm passes. If you see anyone OOC who doesn't seem to be aware of the storm (We're posting here, the group notice AND noting it on the weather system, but some people do miss these things), please do let them know there's one going on!
