By Royal Decree a big project was started that calls on every interested and capable citizen to help work on a massive power generator that is destined to supply the island wide magic fence grid that is being built to keep people from falling off into the void! The Morning Star is currently tasked to support the project by shipping building materials and construction workers to and from the site. Prior to that the ship had been tasked in dragging a smaller floating rock from nearby into the city and depositing it at a spot where it would be in a central position in relation to every other point of the main island. Citizens are looking to the sky and keep wondering how this major mage-tech project will work out, but the Empress is said to be confident that Ramauan skill in combination with the skill and knowledge of other cultures will provide a huge benefit to all of Lismore in the end...
The techniques used to attract power to the central crystal are still being worked on, and at this current state much is still in flux. So any inventor and tinkerer is officially invited to come forward with ideas and suggestions that will help decide how this power supplying mage-tech device is going to operate in the end! (interested players can fly up to the construction site and RP there. It is assumed that gryphons or other flying vessels transport them there.)
