Quick Question!

While this thread is being made for a particular question, I'm willing to leave it here for anyone else who needs a quick answer from staff.

RE: the winter storm.

Would it be permissible for me to claim that my character, who is an air elemental if not a particularly old and powerful one, has been attempting to belay the storm/lessen its severity? I don't doubt he would be unable to do much good, as again he's very young and weak, but it would be an interesting topic!

He can certainly try! He may provide another hour or so of preparation time. There is a less than mundane nature associated with the storms that may be uncovered if anyone's feeling brave and skilled enough to try and study them ICly.
