Upon arriving in the marketplace, Her Royal Highness, Crown Princess Ariel noticed in the slaver merchants area a slave lion obviously inadequately clothed to endure the extreme cold that Lismorean winter can bring. Once questioned, the slave confirmed that he was suffering in the cold, and that his owner had left him in the cage and was nowhere to be found at the time.
Following Her Royal Highness' reasoning that an unwell, poorly kept slave in the city's market is an eyesore for the city's image, and that the slave cages and market area are not locations adequate for petty cruelty or public punishment carried out by private individuals to take place, and the lack of responsibility of the slaver in question for not being present while his merchandise occupied the slave pen, said slaver is to be brought in for questioning.
While Her Royal Highness leaves judgment and sentencing in this instance in the hands of the respective authorities, it is her advice that the slaver be fined for negligence and potentially have his license revoked.
The unnamed slave lion was taken to the Temple, to be left in their custody and care as they see fit, until this matter is resolved.
