Just a note on Ani's post, because we have been discussing the matter among ourselves before putting it here:
This new name should ideally be truly a 'new' thing. Lismorean in origin would be ideal, since names like that usually were taken relative to the location/place or profession or something of the general area where they are from. So we should avoid "names from where the Natines would come" or "names from Sarah's ancestry", for example. It should be new, and as neutral as possible to the heritage, because they're establishing themselves as a fennec family of Lismore.
That said, some names do sound better in other languages so we got some Latin and some French going, and if you have a better suggestion that sounds good in some other language, suggest it! Just keep in mind the origin should be relative to these fennecs on the here and now., not to their ancestry.
