With the approval of Emperor Xahu Fu Sheng people can see Ausar Valiant conduct a search for a new name for territory formerly known as 'Temple Isle'. Every citizen is free to submit a proposal (or more, within reason, if the creative juices are flowing), although Ausar reserves the right to reject names that do not fit certain criteria. Ausar would frequent public places like the tavern and bistro, the park, the temple and it's baths and the market to conduct his study.
((Everyone is free to submit proposals, either IC by chatting up Ausar (feel free to give me a poke to bounce by) or here in the forum. However, if you post them here in the forum, you need to specify which of your characters submits them. Anonymous suggestions won't be considered. If you want to make the list, please match the following criteria:
- 1.) The name should be a serious suggestion, not a joke, insult or statement.
- 2.) If possible, the name should be unique and resonant - we are not looking for a another <generic word here> Island (e.g. 'Forrest Island', 'River Island', 'Lake Island' etc.).
- 3.) The proposal should not be the exact name of another person, god or spiritual entity or overly focus on those.
- 4.) The general public should be able to pronounce the name.
- 5.) Names should fit the place ('The Barren Lands' would not make a good choice for a lush forest).
Like mentioned earlier, multiple proposals are okay. I will collect names until Saturday the 24th and then probably start a vote - details on the voting process will follow later.))
