Raid and Party! (The Renegades Strike!)

Hi everyone! We're going to be hosting a large desert raid against a heavily-fortified First Kingdom outpost on 4/21/2017 (Friday), at 3:00 PM. I'm sorry for not setting up a vote, but this is likely to be a long, hard event, and so is not really suitable for the week.

To sign up for the raid, you have three options;

Post here with the character who will be joining,

Approach any member of the Desert Renegades (go to the desert through the portal - if nobody's there, just IM Ani Aunerfal and i'll fix you up) and have your character ask to join,

Or simply say your character met with Kami or another desert member - they will generally not turn any offer for aid away, so you can safely assume your character's request was granted.


This is going to be a tough event, so be ready!

The time for glory has come once again! Any of able body or mind, whether you seek only to defend your home, or find valor and glory in battle, start brushing up on your skills and securing your equipment! We will soon be assaulting a fortress which rests ontop a vault full of First Kingdom artifacts! The fortress is all but guaranteed to be heavily defended, so we'll need every ounce of strength and every trick available.

If you wish to join our forces, come to the desert and make your interest known!

Though the attack was costly, the Renegades and it's staunch allies have enjoyed a great deal of success.

The battle report is as follows;

Friendly Forces

Heavily wounded/damaged

Skycutter crewmen

The Skycutter took severe damage and will be out of commission for a time during repairs

Dead

Soldiers and crewmen suffered fairly minimal casualties
Arkan, a desert executor (commander) was slain by the enemy field commander, who did not give his name. A funeral service will be held in the desert fortress soon.



Enemy Forces

All enemy soldiers slain, including a strange shadow-centurion and two elite fire mages.

The enemy commander, who remains unnamed, was slain. His body has been recovered and taken to the Renegades Fortress for study.




The Renegades Alliance would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Morning Star, the Black Mariner and the Skycutter, who risked their ships and lives to assist in this assault.

The Renegades also wish to thank the Rawrbites Squad for making an appearance, as their coordinated tactics and leadership produced great results against the orcish ranks!

A small fortune in valuables and artifacts have been seized from the fortress vault. It'll likely take some time for Lismore and the renegades' scholars and magic-users to fully identify all of the artifacts.
