The Spy Takedown (Time/Date Voting has begun!)

Hello everyone! We're going to be aiming to host the spy takedown event sometime this weekend. This event will involve a coordinated takedown of several enemy spies that have been confirmed to have infiltrated Lismore. After lengthy discussion, it was decided that Tay and Dorean should be eliminated - these are the spies located in the temple and cruentes. Dorean is suspected to be the most likely to flee at the first sign of trouble, given the faction he was stationed to spy on, and there is great concern that Tay may harm innocents (cubs, the defenseless, animals) in his attempts to resist capture.

Information would have been given to trusted members of the community (Lismore's proven defenders) that three more spies, residing in the city, will have capture attempts made against them.

Celesta is one of the priority captures. She is currently posing as a library assistant, and is suspected to have significant magical prowess. Caution is advised.

Lucio is the second priority capture. He is currently planted in the academy as a teaching aid, and is also likely to have significant magical skill.

Morgana may be considered a priority as well, as she may be needed if things don't go as planned. She is currently planted in the guard.

It should be noted that these spies may attempt to kill themselves upon capture, some have even proven able to expend their remaining lifeforce in order to cause serious damage to their enemies. Serious caution is reccomended.

<OOC TIME! You'll find a poll up at the top, i need everyone to post a range of times they'll be available in the replies, in addition to voting for a day in the poll itself. We'll pick the best time and date based off of that.

If you're attending, try and also include which spy you're going to join the takedown effort against! We will need at least 1-2 people per spy!

Can't make any of the days this weekend most likely since I'll be catsitting someplace with limited internet, but I'm calling dibs on Tay (or whoever the temple one is.)

I've already been talking to Ani about setting up a scene for that particular target.

If needed, Bella can offer advice on how to take down Tay and Relina or Kain can go after Lucio. Also if needed, Vera can shapeshift into one of the spies after about half a  days worth of examining the body.

Well we're planning to make this a multi-staged event with different scenes happening on the same time so to simultaneously deal with the spies.
That being said, the more prominent people for the scenes will most likely be as followed, provided their availability.

Morgana - Dru and the Guard, following up as Dru's plan
Lucio - Relina and co considering it is within the Academy
Celeste - Valencia/Abbadon and co
Tay - Temple followers, most likely either Radem due to his connected with the Inari Shrine or Emir due to his connection with the Archangels
Dorean - Cruentus, this one is the one that will be handled 'off-screen' unless there are really people wanting to play it out there.

How does saturday at noon sound for everyone? Tay can be scratched off the list for the day, his takedown will proably be rped sometime on thursday, but assumed to happen when we do the rest of the takedowns. If we're not able to get enough players for saturday / (whenever), we can stagger the other takedowns the same way.

Critical success!

Lismore's defenders performed a series of expert tackles, and despite the severe tendancy for self-termination on behalf of the spies, FOUR of the five spies have been captured.

Dorean was slain during his attempt, the incident being easily owed to his notably higher perception and speed, he was slain to avoid his escape.

Celesta and Lucio, those responsible and possessing most information about the 'dead man's charm' were captured due to the efforts of Relina, Navaru, Xela (For Lucio), and Abbadon, Stark and Casey (For Celesta.)

Tay, the temple spy, was captured thanks to the efforts of Radem and Solrin.

Morgana was captured as the result of a brilliant strategy created by the Lismore Guard without incident!

Interrogations and further dealings with the spies shall be decided by those players who are ICly responsible IM me when you're ready to play things out!
