One of Collie's captains, a woman named Misery tried to gather information on Collie under a false identity and was during that attempt revealed and arrested. Reports have been sent to Captain Drucilla and Prime Minister Emir.
Here is the guard report/log:
[19:27] Flotsam eyes Ausar for a few moments before quietly commenting to herself, "Slave.. not what I'm after.." she grumbles before looking to Miri, eyeing her, "Hmm.. possibly. Hey! Are you a guard here?"
[19:27] Miriamella would, alarmed by other guards on patrol and stationed around the arena, approach from the guard house slowly. "Miss...? What is the matter. You seem agitated. And si, I am a guard."
[19:29] Ausar comes bouncing up the street, curiously looking over to Aunt Miri and the stranger.
[19:31] Flotsam eyes Ausar once more before looking back to Miri and nodding, "Yeah, I want to talk to a guard. I want to visit a prisoner" she states, stepping closer, but not in a threatening manner, "I understand ya have Collie and his son in the cells? Can I talk to them?"
[19:34] Miriamella perks her ears in an alarmed way and motions a few guards to start circling in the cheetah. "Miss, I want you to stay calm and stay right where you are. I have a few questions I d like to ask you. The first being... who are you and what is your relation to Collie? Why do you want to talk to them?" She d make a brief gesture with her hand, a soft golden glow briefly shimmering around it as her divination spell washed over the cheetah.
[19:35] Ausar keeps a save distance, but watches the whole situation awestruck, seldom having a change to see the guard in action. He has to stop himself from cheering Miri on. Now his gaze is trained at the stranger.
[19:36] Flotsam eyes the guards as they move in, stopping her approach and raising her paws up in a non-threatening manner, "I'm not causing trouble" she comments, "I am Flotsam, former captain. That asshole sunk my ship, I want to know what he did with the stuff on the ship and give him a telling off. his son would do, too, he can pass the message on" she explains, frowning as the divination spell is used on her, "Whats this crap?"
[19:43] Miriamella gives a signal to the guards to keep standing around her in a circle within some distance... for now. She d eye the cheetah warily and then say "You ll have to forgive us, but with many of Collie's captains still out there, you could just as well be one of his men. If he sunk your ship, why are you alone, where is your crew, your first mate? Do you have any means to prove what you just claimed? And... that was a divination spell."
[19:45] Ausar rubs his hands when he hears that there are more pirates in town. For now he keeps listening into the discussion Miri has with Flotsam.
[19:45] Flotsam remains there for now, eyeing the guards, "If one of collie's captains approched here, they'd have to be an idiot" she comments, "My ship sank.. of course I've got no crew." she states, lifting her paw to show the ring she wore, "See my ring here? It lets me breath water. They diddnt have one, I did. And, divining what? what magic stuff I have?"
[19:51] Miriamella would briefly glance to Ausar and if he d look over would try to make a subtle gesture to keep his distance. The guards surrounding the cheetah would not let him pass anyway. She d then fixate Flotsam "Sometimes hiding directly under the enemies eyes is the best mask, and sometimes doing exactly the opposite of what is expected can lead to impressive results. I am sorry, Miss Flotsam, but since I am responsible for the security of the city and there is is still very much a threat from Collie and his men, I ll have to take precautions." She then shakes her head. "So you are telling me that you are the only survivor? That there was no wreckage, no... flotsam... they could have saved themselves with?" She d also add "And something is off with your aura."
[19:54] Ausar nods to Aunt Miri. He is not going to cause trouble right now. He is just looking out to see if he finds some info he may can put to use with Jack. "Of course there is something off with her aura. She is a pirate.", he mutters
[19:55] Flotsam eyes Miri for a few more moments before looking to the guards once more as they remain in place. She'd then sigh, "So, do ya question everyone who asks about prisoners like this?" she asks, "And some others may of survived, I did not see them though. Swam under the waves, ya see. And likewise, there was a wreck.. but thats not uncommon in the seas" she'd then frown at the last comment, "Huh, no clue why that would be" she comments before glancing over to Ausar, catching his muttering, "I prefer the term.. private sailor"
[20:01] Miriamella sighs and then tries to explain calmly "Miss Flotsam... we do question everyone unknown to us if that person starts asking about prisoners. And in this case, considering who the prisoners are, we are even more obliged to ask very thorough questions. Furthermore, since there is still his fleet outside, what do you think does this look like if suddenly a pirate captain wanders into town? Come now, Miss Flotsam, you d do the same in my position. I am afraid I ll have to take you in until this matter is further investigated. You ll be glad to hear though that you ll indeed get your talk with Collie and his son. To figure out who you are and confirm your claim." She d give the guards a signal. "Please cooperate and dont make this hard for us... and I am pretty sure you do have a clue what I am talking about. Id prefer it if you told me by yourself instead of me having to call in someone to more thoroughly examine you."
[20:03] Ausar giggles and cheers: "You go, Miri!" And he leans against the wall of the tavern, watching how the guard will go about taking her away.
[20:04] Flotsam considers and nods, "Makes sense I guess, but I aint a pirate" she states, lightly folding her arms as Miri explains, "Take me in? Am I under arrest for asking questions?" she asks, although it seemed she was prepared to follow, "What do you mean, by more thoroughly examine me, though?" she asks, before glaring an almost death glare at Ausar at his call
[20:11] Miriamella frowns a bit at that "I d ask you to try understand my position. Collie's fleet is a very real and very big threat to us right now, so security measures taken are very strict and may seem a bit extreme. But I cannot allow a potential ally of Collie to just waltz into town and then leave again. But I promise you... the moment we are certain you are a victim of his fleet, and do not belong to his men, you can walk away." She d then say "I would not call it an arrest.. call it a time of observation with added security. I will have you talk with Collie or his son as soon as possible to verify your claim. But until then you ll have to stay with us." She d motion to her weapon. "Please hand over your weapons to a guard. You ll get all your possessions back once you leave. And... I ll call someone experienced in magical scans and divination who may reveal more about the odd aura you possess. Unless you want to tell me yourself."
[20:15] Flotsam looks to the guards once more, before looking back to Miri, "Its pretty much an arrest" she states, before she removes her sword and buckler, handing them over, before drawing two pistols and handing them over too, "I am not talking outside on some of these matters" she states, not seeming at all happy about how things were going, but complying for now
[20:17] Miriamella nods softly "The Lismorean Guard thanks you for your cooperation and it will be noted in the report. Since you are so forthcoming, I will take you to someone you wanted to talk to anyway. Please follow us..." And the armed escort would take her to the guard tower, where Miri would lead her down the stairs to the cells. Flotsams equipment would meanwhile be stored in a chest upstairs.
[20:21] Flotsam nods to Miri and follows her down, making a mental note of where her equipment was being taken. Once they arrive she'd step closer to the cells and would peer at Blake, before huffing, "Hey! Are you collie's son?" she asks, "You lot sank my ship! Are they treating you badly here, as punishment? I bet you are here for a very long time" she announces accusingly
[20:23] Blake: sits cross legged on the cot a book in his lap as he reads over the page he was on before turning it. He flicks an ear when the lt. brings someone down with him, raising a brow faintly. He then glances at Miri a bit in confusion before miffing faintly at the remark, "My father has sunk along of ships.. get in line." He remarks at the mouthy feline and looks back to his book idly.
[20:24] Miriamella casts Blake an apologizing glance when Flotsam blurts it out like that. "Hello Blake. I have brought someone who claims she is a captain and that her ship was sunk by your father's fleet. Do you have any idea who she is? She calls herself Flotsam."
[20:26] Flotsam eyes Blake and huffs, "So that means you two are not leaving here anytime soon, right? Or will you get hung?" she asks, before looking to Miri, giving a nod
[20:30] Blake: does indeed recognize Misery, but does not let on that she is one of his fathers high ranking officers.. she was clearly there fishing for information. He miffs once more and flicks his ears back, "Hello Lt. Solis.. not so nice bringing such a loud mouth down here.." He tells her, and then eyes the noisy feline, "Im not sure.." He says to her, "But no.. Lismore apparently does not do hungings, so your out of luck there.. what were you a captain off? A fishing dingy?"
[20:32] Miriamella casts Flotsam a thoughtful look but doesnt comment on it for now. That was indeed a very interesting question to ask. Shed motion to Flotsam to keep going and just stands there, watching and listening for now, the gears in her mind turning and grinding.
[20:34] Collie would give a grunt, the voices outside the cells finally managing to make him stir, though the fox doesn't get up just yet, turning his gaze to move between those present, as he tries to figure out what was being talked about.
