If money wasn't an issue, the farm life would come with a decent, open-minded community and good internet access to keep me connected to the world at large I would probably go for that. :)

At the moment, City suits me fine. but in the future I'd love to own a castle style farm with a decent power supply and google fibre connection :)

Do you like ceiling fans or are they a nuisance?

Ceiling fans in general are a great thing if you have a place that allows for them. Nothing like getting a breeze from them on a hot summer's day. From the point of aesthetics you usually need a large enough room and furniture spread out in a pattern that aligns with the fan. I also like it when ceiling fans double as your light source.

If they work as they should, I have no problem with them. They can, however, turn into a nuisance if they make too much or the wrong kind of noise. But that is an issue of quality and maintenance, rather than an inherent problem with ceiling fans.

Yes. They're quiet and great at circulating air.

My head is usually not more than 8-13 inches away from the ceiling in most private homes here in Norway, so for me ceiling fans are quite a nuisance! I always have to duck when they're running otherwise I'll get hit.

I actually despise ceiling fans. ...or any fan near me. For some reason nobody can explain, fans blow away ALL my body heat, leaving me feeling cold and miserable. I love a natural breeze, but artificially moving air wrecks me!

(my friends used to joke that if I were a supervillain, the unusual exotic "only way to defeat me" would be to aim a fan at me  ;)  )

What do you prefer: Cars, motorcycles, or bicycles?

Cars, if only for the fact that I can stay warm driving them around in winter.

Cars, much more comfy and you can transport a lot of stuff (and Aryn can tell you that I need way to much stuff whenever I travel, even if only for a weekend visit).

I don't mind the bicycle for short distances, especially since you have an easier time finding a parking space for them - but in fall and winter they are not much fun to use. Cold, wet and prone to get you in trouble if the ground is slippery due to wet fallen leaves or ice.
