Slave/Servant/Livestock Inspections
« on: February 01, 2014, 05:26:38 pm »
As stated in this statute implemented by Lismore's Prime Minister Emir Brightmane, slaves/servants/livestock needs to be inspected!

We could go two ways about this type of event:

  • We could set up a time and place, and owners would bring their sentient livestock to undergo inspections.  Or...
  • We could do it as personal scenes, where the inspectors would go to where the livestock is to conduct inspections.

The first makes it a broad event with fixed time and place, and while it would likely bring forth lots of public exposition, could be lengthy and hard to work around people's time constrains.

The second makes it all more private, but flexible! Personally I'm leaning towards the second option, but first of all let's get a head count on who are the slaves/servants currently around, shall we?

If you play a slave character, please post their name(s) and who are their owners, and if you prefer to have a big mass inspection or a personal scene for it.

Dron - Belongs to Mishra works in the infirmery and sells cuts of meat on the side.

The Fennecs - belong to the Valentines work in their house

My opinion is such a thing wouldn't be public IE in the town square or arena, but privacy wouldn't be a particular concern would likely be some form of tent near the marketplace or Infirmery with holding pens outside people wouldnt be stopped from looking but they wouldn't be encouraged either.

Yeah, trying to herd cats is hard. That said, could do one big scene where all the livestock from the ships at port are being examined, etc.

Radem - owned by Kawadias (though he'll of course debate that if someone asks him), private probably.
