several days ago a mysterious person broke into the zenko vault of artifacts and stole a sample from a magical substance known as tassnacite. the mysterious person slew two zenko guards, traumatized another, and left without a trace. Already one mage has been assaulted and rendered unconscious and more attacks on casters is expected.
This unknown attacker has unleashed some kind of beast within lismore that is seeking out mages and attacking them as it seems to build itself.
