Since alot of people have put unique, customized races in their cards, I thought there should be a topic for people to post ones they'd like to see other players using.

As for format..

This one has been a work in progress for well over a year now and I keep adding things and updating parts to keep it's uniqueness.

Name: Extractum Vulpes (Commonly called DragonFox.)

Is this a hybrid?: Theoretically yes, but in truth, no.

What do they look like? (Include screenshots at the bottom of this form, include avatar components here!):
DragonFoxes come in a few colors, most common are the black furred one's, though there have been sightings of both red and white species. The average DragonFox tends to be furred with soft scales underneath the main body which are most appearant with the white spot from their chest down to their thighs. They have dragon like wings mounted onto their shoulders that allows them to fly, their heads are fox like and have two horns growing out of the top of their heads. Their legs are mostly fox like though some are seen with dragon like feet paw. Their hand-paws vary from a more furred dragon-paw or at times fox-paws.

List of Avatar components used for my main DragonFox (Rajani): (Beware, it's quite a price tag to get this one completed.)
V5: (DragonFox Evolved)
KZK Black Fox head, jaw and eyes
EXL Black Therion skin and forearms
KZK Gray Thel ears
KZK Black Western Dragon wings (partly recolor) and horns
KZK Black Sergal legs (retextured with KZK White Fox leg texture), feet and hand-paws
Darkspot Design Black Fennec tail (made into a dual tail)
DK Keely Red Tips hair

What abilities does this race have that makes it unique?:
The DragonFoxes utilize both traits of dragons and foxes combining them in certain areas like their keen senses. They are long living beings that can go up to thousands of years, they also possess a natural regeneration that, while it doesn't fix their wounds, will allow them to heal naturally without leaving any scar tissue. You will never see a DragonFox with scar or burn marks. Not that you can burn them easily anyways as thanks to a special coat that covers their furred scaled allowing them to withstand flames for at least five minutes in length. (For full abilities, ask me.)

What must a player do to use your race?:
Ask me, I will warn you that I may be kind of picky on who I allow to play them but I wouldn't outright deny everyone. Be warned however that in order to make a DragonFox one will need quite an ammount of L$, last I checked, Rajani would come up over 6000 L$ which may be just a bit too much for anyone who has to start from scratch.

Is there anything people of this race should all know/do? (Include things like diets here!):
All DragonFoxes have a universal weakness which is located in their twin tails, the twin tails pose as a balancer for the dragonfox, if one is broken or worse, removed, the DragonFox will be off balance and will have difficulties walking due to lack of balance and are simply unable to fly as they would loose control. They are also suspect to cold and can not really last long in extreme colds. Also, DragonFoxes refer themselves as the Higher Species when speaking of their own species. There are three known Extractum species, the Extractum Vulpes AKA DragonFox, the Extractum Vulpes Zerda AKA the DragonFennec and the Extractum Cattus AKA the DragonCat. The DragonFoxes were the first, hence they refer to themselves as the Higher Species.

The DragonFoxes are generally meat eaters, but in truth they are omnivores and eat just about anything like humans, they are a generally healthy species, things like overweight and underweight are unknown to them. They have a hatred towards Romans who started the first war, and are now rulers of the island of Kiran after the brief second war. Generally said, and DragonFox that is free has escaped the island in fear of slavery or worse, death.

Backstory on race (Optional, but highly recommended):
Long ago, long before history was even recorded upon this plane of existence, in a far away dimension so much different then our own, there were gods and goddesses of various kinds. These deity's were members of the Two Councils, the High Council and the Sub Council. Amongst the species that were counted for were creatures like Wolves, Tigers, Chimera's, Gryphons and more, also Dragons and Kitsune's. The rules were simply, the races and deity's lived in peace and harmony but their species were not allowed to have offspring or even any form of intimacy with another species. However this rule was eventually broken when the Dragon God of Life and Death, Drackus, became involved with the Kitsune Goddess of Fertility and Bareness, Enoki. They shared a passion for each other, they loved each other, their love was forbidden and as the council was in uproar about this horrid fact the fates of Drackus and Enoki would soon be decided upon. Despite being gods, being members of the High Council, the two were banished from their very plane of existence and forced to leave to spend the rest of their immortal lives elsewhere.

This is when they eventually arrived within our plane of Existence and found themselves upon an uncharted island hidden from the sight of the world, they named the island, Kiran. It was here that began their lives anew, and from their very love a new species would be created. The Goddess Enoki would give birth to twelve children, while they all shared the same mixed species that would eventually become the new race, they were all of different bloods. They were not born as siblings, but as individuals and they were raised as such. These twelve creatures were the Original Twelve, the first ever DragonFoxes, immortal due to their parents divine abilities, they would eventually too, give birth to children, and these children eventually gave birth to children and thus the DragonFox race was born and growing. Centuries would pass, millennium even as the DragonFox race had always secluded themselves to the island of Kiran, the island that never seemed to get crowded, but perhaps that was the work of the Dragon God Drackus and the Kitsune Goddess Enoki, who took their role as the religious deity's that the DragonFoxes worshiped, the deity's that would keep a check upon their offspring's expansion....but that is perhaps a whole different story on its own.

Culture/Typical behavior (Optional):
The DragonFoxes have always been a kind and peace loving species, though knowing the dangers of the outside world due to scouts and short term expeditions, they did make an army and within it DragonFoxes were trained to fight and protect their lands. They worship their ancestral deity's; the Dragon God Drackus and the Kitsune Goddess Kitsune, whom they yearly bring an offering upon the first day of a new year. However after the first war that decimated half of their kind and nearly ruined their island in the process of five years, most DragonFoxes are not too keen on outsiders and they share a universal hatred towards Romans as these were the one's who brought the war to them.

The DragonFoxes lived in a society called the Chaya Empire who ruled over the island rightiously and just, their queen is Rajani Dezarus. However, the Romans occupy the island now and Rajani fled with about two dozen of her people. Current culture would be slavery as either workers or fighters under the Roman Empire.

Rajani (Center) with her sister Crysta (Left) and the Shapeshifter Naurel (Right) showing the three known colors of DragonFoxes:

The next pictures are nudes and thus only shown in links.
Female DragonFox (Rajani):
DragonFox Female Front
DragonFox Female Side
DragonFox Female Back

Male DragonFox: (Ramachandra):
DragonFox Male Front
DragonFox Male Side
DragonFox Male Back

If anyone has any questions and wishes to know more, feel free to IM me when I am on, or leave me an offline or notecard with your question and I will reply asap.

Added:

Dragonfoxes can produce firebreath, which gets hot enough to easily melt metals in the aluminum temperature range (1,221°F (660.3°C)), and copper (1,984°F (1,085°C)) if given enough time/stamina or combined effort. The firebreath is not magical.

Finally repasting this.

Hooo boy this is gonna be a doozy and a half, but I'd love to see people play some of my more creative races. I guess I'll start with Abberants.

Name: Abberant (Nature's Daughter)

Is this a hybrid?: Yes, any single race not already draconic paired with a dragon.

What do they look like? (Include screenshots at the bottom of this form, include avatar components here!):
Any smooth skin with no obvious fur or scales will do.
Digigrade legs of any kind, again, smooth preferred
the head and jaw of the non-dragon race
dragon feet, can be scaled, furred, or smooth
dragon wings, same as feet
dragon tail, smooth and untipped or spined
purple hair with full bright on
blue/green eyes
Some form of curved horns

What abilities does this race have that makes it unique?:
Abberants are always attuned to a specific element, usually hinted by their color. Reds and oranges are generally Fire or Light, yellows and purples are Thunder or Astral, blues of all shades are Water or Ice, greens and browns are Earth and Nature, greys and whites are Mind and Body, and Silvers and Golds are respectively Foresight and Life. These attunements generalize what school of magic they cast from, though not the spells. It can be noted that particularly special Abberants that have unusual colors may have unusual elements, such as a black Abberant being aligned with Necromancy, though this particular individual would be considered an abomination and wiped out.

They also rely on a breath weapon similar to that of a dragon, but steeped in their element... and they live to 1000 years old.

What must a player do to use your race?: Read up on the Abberants and Easton, then make one. IT MUST BE FEMALE.

Is there anything people of this race should all know/do? (Include things like diets here!):
An Abberant's diet is decided by its secondary or non-dragon race. No Abberant has outer parts, and they excrete from a hole in the tip of their tail. They thrive on massive amounts of common aromatic herbs, and can die if their mana levels reach zero and linger there unhelped by another being. Most never leave forested areas for long, as the nature expressed there pulls them back.

Backstory on race (Optional, but highly recommended):
In the beginning of this race, they were the single female guardians of temples and forests, of things revered by all who loved nature. They were respected and loved, despite being nearly genderless and unable to breed.

Noted as always being female half dragons with purple hair and powerful magic, they were originally called Nature's Daughters in their continent of origin. Then the advent of the Slaver Sergal Clan came, and the rumor spread that the inability to breed and powerful magic of the Abberants made them cursed and horrible creatures. In truth, the Sergal Slavers were trying to capture as many of the elusive half dragonesses as possible, to attempt to discover just how they worked.

it worked quite well. Any such child born was abandoned in the forest, and any surviving Abberants are either incredibly wild or broken to the point of magiclessness in the Slaver city.

They are literally spirits of nature.

Culture/Typical behavior (Optional):
they are literally spirits of nature. As such, they will compare life to various natural things all around them with varying degrees of success. They can see their element all around them and how it interacts with people, and at their most powerful an Abberant has the power to see all of the elements they can weild at once. Many will take certain herbs as thier natural favorites, and will never use any others again. As such, finding a wild abberant is easy if you find a large plot of herbal aromatics randomly in a feild.

Due to the fact that they have no visible pleasure centers themselves, Abberants are famously neutral on gender and on sex, partnering up with other abberants at random only to learn abilities and to keep warm on cold nights. Those raised not knowing of their own history may find themselves attracted to a species similar to their secondary race if not their own race. It is impossible for Abberant blood to breed true: the resulting child would be a mixed breed creature of multiple races. Not to mention the fact that in order to breed, an abberant would have to go through immense physical pain and probable death.

Abberants are unrivaled in magical ability at their highest power, but this is only attainiable at an age of over 100 years and by being taught from their early age of 10. Each one can command up to 6 elements, though most can only truly use four of the 6 to any effect. In order to use an element, an Abberant must attune to nature for a week, bidding farewell to their previous element and meditating on the form of their next one. In addition, Abberants make horrible travelers as it takes them vast stretches of time to attune to new places and thus be able to use and feel the magic of that place as well as begin to fly there with ease. Thus, most of them still remain on their continent of origin and are unfortunately easy for the Slavers to track down.

Here are examples of several Abberants. I'll do my other races another day... now is not the time.

DOCUMENTATION OF EASTON: http://eastonfantasy.proboards.com/index.cgi or ask me in SL on any of my accounts you know
NOTE: Yes, you CAN just use any parts from any av. I originally made my Abberant, Amilin, out of freebies and a KZK sergal.

Blue Galaxy Store - Caisteal, Caisteal (238, 88, 32)

What abilities does this race have that makes it unique?: highly selective nose, hearing, and an ability to match the frequency for various materials such as wood, stone, and different kinds of metal. their nose is directly tuned to sniff out very specific things. while the breed of cats were created for mining purposes, it stands to reason that with the proper incentive to the breeder, one can have the cat focused in this area for something other than metal. normally however the sense of smell is so sensitive that it is able to detect the scent of metal ore through several feet of rock. in sim terms this means they can identified any scent within ten feet of them. however, due to this, anything beyond that they effectively can not smell. for reference, the house they are in could be burning. the fire could be above them and everyone else could smell it, but unless a source was within ten feet of them they would be oblivious. their hearing ability has been bread into them for the sake of the miners and the ones working the forge. their ears are able to dull out harsh noises that would normally deafen or leave the ears of others ringing. this helps them use blasting charges in mines, and work the forges with their hammers. if they don't have to be as far away from the blast, they can get back to the dig sight much quicker than their normal counterparts. another ability they have, if one could call it that,  is a complete lack of self preservation. this may translate into a lack of common sense, but unless a owner works for several years with them on it, they are unable to comprehend the act of self preservation for themselves or others of their kind, this means a abnormal work ethic that allows them to work until they literally die from it. they will push through hunger, pain, injury, anything that would make other creatures with self preservation stop.

What must a player do to use your race?: keep in mind the lore and history of the race in general and come to the realization that this is not a combat race. they must also purchase and use the avatar. also, this is a race that is not a hybrid race, and can not be bread with other non feline creatures. this was put into place in the breeding program to prevent illegitimate heirs from seizing power. also, there is no chance for mutation here, as anything that doesn't meet the breeding criteria would have been killed on the spot, and to prevent the risk of that happening at a later date to anyone else in the batch, it wasn't just them that would have been killed, the entire batch would have been put to death.

they also have superb dark vision. however any other light above low light not only blinds, but disorients them catastrophically. so severe is the disorientation that the cat looses sense of up, down, and general direction. this isn't a simple "oh i'm lost," this is more of something humans can't comprehend, but in lamens terms, every direction is every direction at the same exact time. so up, is down, left, right, back, forwards, ect. so not only are they blind, but they are also promptly immobile. to counteract this, the forge cats wear protective goggles that lowers the light levels to total darkness. as a little bit extra, the cat's eyes actualy are luminous and tangibly glow. while the lux level isn't drastic, a owner can presumably bring the object they are trying to read to just under the cat's eye and have just enough light to read it.

Is there anything people of this race should all know/do? (Include things like diets here!):forge cats should mostly take after their namesake, in that their purpose is the forge and the mine. they were built for heavy labor intensive tasks, or tasks where a single minded mentality would be helpful or more favorable to a free thinking individual. that is not to say that all forge cats are blacksmiths, whitesmiths, or miners. they are what they were created for. this could mean that if someone lived long enough, they could order a forge cat for alchemy, a cat who was tuned to different alchemical ingredients for example. forge cats are also highly expendable in the large sense of things. throwing the lives of a few hundred of these cats away means next to nothing to the owners most of the time. in lismore that has proven to be not so much the case. forge cats do not have litters, while singularly they have litters of cats, they do not consider this, and are instead breed in batches. a single batch of forge cats is 100. batches are judged at one year of age. if any abnormalities exist in the batch, or anything is wrong with the batch what so ever, the batch, in it's entirety, is slaughtered. the process for which is via a design in their holding chambers. forge cats at this point are kept in a room barely as tall as they are. this room has a grated ceiling and a grated floor. once the batch is judged and if it's deemed that it's imperfect, molten lava is diverted from the processing area to flow into the room via the grates. thus the cats are literally incinerated. the cats are also incapable of thinking of escape, and any sense of free will is immediate grounds for batch termination.

forge cats are also multi lingual, but their main language is German. their second language is dwarven, and their third is common.

forge cats are far from useless or worthless, in fact if a forge cat is noted at having accacptional skill or is piratically useful, it may be owned by someone of worth. these cats are subsequently fought over rather violently i might add. it is not uncommon for dwarfs to kill each other for these cats of notable skill.

a forge cat lives to serve it's owner, to it, that is it's only task, it's only purpose, and it's only reason for existing, to it, everything else is a lie, and they cant even comprehend lies. a forge cat is happy when it is serving it's owner and preforming a given task. as time grows on and the cat learns, the feline may find happiness in other things, but being of use to it's owner is always it's ultimate goal and is really the only thing that will make it happy.

forge cats are not used to affection, it is an alien thing for them. they barely know how to comprehend it in fact. at first, all they know is it triggers their purring, which tells them it's time for work. but as time goes on, they may be able to comprehend affection, but this is distracting for it, as this affection, specifically the affection of their owner or someone their owner permits to give them affection becomes their singular focus in life and everything will go towards getting said affection. if they make anything, it will be to please their owner to the point affection is given. affection for them at this point is the only "good job" that matters. anything else means it was only satisfactory and they did not live up to their owner's expectations.

for a forge cat, failure means death. forge cats do not fear death, they are incapable of it as they lack any self preservation sense. forge cats however will not hesitate to put themselves into harms way if it means the safety of their owners or ones they call "prized slaves". a prized slave is anyone who receives affection from the owner, or seems to be held in high regard.

forge cats are incapable of being free. a free forge cat will wait in the spot they were freed until they starve to death or die of dehydration, as they will actually wait for that person, who's name is "free", or "youare free". given no one is actually named that, they end up dieing. a forge cat who is free, will not allow anyone else to move them, and they are rather good at keeping their ground.

forge cats who have worked in the dwarven mines all come "equipped" with magnetic boots. these heavy boots weigh 30Lbs each, and are extremely magnetic. the boots are to allow the cats to walk on both sides of a metal walk way to increase traffic and productivity. cats with full ore bags will walk on top, while cats with empty ore bags will walk on bottom, upside down.

forge cats most always wear some kind of "foot ware" as without it they essentially have no breaks and tend to slide everywhere they go if they're not on grass or dirt.

forge cats are not dumb, while they may seem retarded, or some may conciser them a savant, they are simply just very focused minded.

a forge cat has a very fragile mental state and it is easy to break them. owners are advised not to give the cat an impossible order. now while the owner is free to send the cat to it's death, they are advised, if they value the cat's service, to not give the cat an order such as "go stand in the corner", when the cat is in a round room and there are no corners. once a cat is broken in this way, the normal manner of dealing with it, is simply putting the cat to death and getting a new one. however outside of the dwarven mines an owner will need to spend time to coax the cat into either accepting another order, or forgetting the impossible order. now this is relatively easy for the owner compared to someone who is authorized to giving the cat an order. in this broken mental state the voice of the owner triggers the cat's breed in primal urge to follow commands of it's owner.

forge cats have several dozen bread in and psychological blocks against mating. one of the only ways to get around this is if the cat is owned by a breeder. the simple notion of being owned by a breeder or someone who intends to breed them, takes these blocks out of the way.  that being said, even if the cat is allowed to breed, in hindsight they will have no idea what they are doing and must be educated in such manners. otherwise they'll just stand there dumbfounded going "what does this one do?"

Backstory on race (Optional, but highly recommended): forge cats are the byproduct of dozens of generations of selective breeding. the forge cats originated as the Luna cat before the dwarfs got a hold of them. the dwarfs needed a cheep and easy to maintain slave laybor force to extend their mines as well as preform other tasks. as such, several hundred years have been spent carefully in breeding and creating these cats with a mixture of mundane and arcane methods, neither of which have any concern for anything remotely humane about the process, as results were the only thing that mattered to them.

"now" in the "current age", Forge cats are "produced" in dwarven mines as a efficient and cheep slave labor force. to dwarves, the forge cats are nothing more than a tool that is easily replaced once broken. several breeders keep the dwarfs in fresh supply of these hard working cats, and there is no shortage of bodies where numbers are concerned. outside of dwarven mines, it is exceptionally rare to find a forge cat as most of the time they are considered "damaged goods" by most slavers. this breed is also considered an "exotic" breed despite it's house cat appearance. this is generally due to the care that is needed for them as they have very specific health concerns.

now people own forge cats as they would any other exotic, either to show off or to use it's specific talents. in Rome, a well off postal service may use forge cat's to deliver crates. or in a coal mine, the foreman may use the cat as a sort of ore detector to find the most direct path to the coal they search for. a bank in Switzerland may also use the cat to detect counterfeit coins either by scent or the harmonics of the metal. a mint may also use the cat to forge better quality coins, thus improving the worth of the coins.

Culture/Typical behavior (Optional): extremely submissive and obedient. highly dedicated to the owner. somewhat self destructive.

Name: Deep Abyss Dragons, or bekiwdrasonamekodarastrixi as they call themselves.

Is this a hybrid?: No

What do they look like? (Include screenshots at the bottom of this form, include avatar components here!):
Deep abyss dragons are humanoid in form most of their lives, with four toed flat plantigrade feet and human-like hands. This is where that similarity ends.
The skin of a deep abyss dragon is thick, leathery, and usually very colorful. Females tend to be bright reds and oranges, with larger shell-like heads. Males are blue-green or in rare instances purple and have smaller heads.
Deep abyss dragons have rounded faces with very large eyes, a convex nose, and a very wide mouth. The mouth is lined with retractable teeth and can open big enough to engulf a human's head if said dragon is of human size.
Each has 12-14 tentacles, with four on the back and two on the head. The rest protrude from where the tail meets the body. The tail is long and has a finned tip as well as stabilizing fins on the sides.

Avatar components include:
Grendel's Krakenite/Nautilite av pack
Kinzart Kreetures Dawn Dragon(preferred for tinting, though the midnight one can be used as well.)
Any DSD plantigrade option foot
(males only) Psicorp Dragon penis, no balls

What abilities does this race have that makes it unique?:
Deep Abyss Dragons have the ability to breathe and fight on land or in the water due to spongelike lungs, two in the main body and one in the head(only on females). Both ribs and pelvis are hinged in the back with a gap in the front, held together most of the time but coming loose easily when needed. The males are capable magic users with weaker tentacles. They have flimsy physiques and cannot stay on land nearly as long. The females are powerful brawlers with a high weakness to magic: They are immune to magic of the water element, which simply restores their own hydration. Fire element magic dries them up quicker than anything else.

What must a player do to use your race?:
Come see me in world for a better idea of how the race would look, as I can't take screenshots and save them to my computer without it crashing. Other than that, no requirement.

Is there anything people of this race should all know/do? (Include things like diets here!):
Deep abyss dragons will eat anything they think smells and tastes good, including inedible things like rocks. They are capable of crossbreeding with anything and everything. Their tentacles are laden with tastebuds, and as such they tend to enjoy playing with their food, or doing other things...

They are completely colorblind, and do not have any understanding of colors. All life is grayscale to them. However, bold patterns will catch their eye easily("You have nice textures!"). They can see without a problem in near-complete darkness.

Most learn languages slowly, and all can live for thousands of years. The true lifespan of one is unknown, as the oldest and biggest deep abyss dragons fall into slumber at the bottom of the sea. They grow slowly through their lifespan.

Backstory on race (Optional, but highly recommended):
Deep Abyss Dragons are the nightmares lurking in the depths. Though no documentation remains, it is said that they are the result of a split between the dragons of the land and the dragons of the water, leaving a few dissatisfied clans to dive ever deeper to get away from the claws of their airborne relations. They have lived there ever since, with little in the way of history a land dweller would find interest in.

Culture/Typical behavior (Optional):

They are a peaceful race whose culture seems to revolve around eating, sex, and the gathering of wealth in the form of sunken artifacts of the land. Most Deep Abyss Dragons do not leave these makeshift abodes, which they transform into underwater wizard towers. Some, however, go out to adventure and glory, looking to come back wreathed in gold. Most adventurers are between the ages of 300-1000, and know Abyssal Mer and Draconic. Some studious examples know Common as well, though the older ones have out of date versions.

Most adventurers are female, though some of the males do visit the surface as well and it is a rite of passage for 100 year old children to go to the surface and bring back a branch from a tree before they are considered adults. Among the ornaments on their bodies, the child will wear a polished and preserved disk of the wood of that branch for the rest of their life.

Since I kinda blew up on a number of people after a pretty terrible day yesterday, I'll post this as an upcoming new race for lismore. Consider this to be me trying to make up for being a pissy bitch.

Name: Clouded Leogon

Is this a hybrid?: Yes, it started out as one: Dragon and Clouded Leopard

What do they look like?: Don't have screenshots due to some issues, but I'm very willing to show a few examples icly. Here are the components:

KZK Rift Dragon of any color, all fins removed, tail removed
Any hair, must have a mane of some sort along the neck, males have the mane extended onto their chest and back(I've found the KZK dazzlebat's mane works very well for this)
Long floofy tail from Chimera
Tintable Clouded Leopard spots from Chimera
Psicorp feline bits for males

What abilities does this race have that makes it unique?:
This race is highly adaptable, with a high percentage of kittens born with some level of magical talent. They can only be bred from existing clouded leogons, the current population consists of Teefa. Though capable of breeding with anything, due to certain potions given Teefa any child will consistently be a clouded leogon, though colors and sizes may vary.

While wingless and technically half dragons, they are capable of being driven down a path that makes them more draconic, becoming a Dragon Disciple. The traits gained as such (wings, draconic tail, fire breath in especially strong cases) are not passed on to the next generation.

Clouded Leogons live to the age of 200.

What must a player do to use your race?:
Have the appropriate avatar parts and wait for the next litter to mature. They are playable as children at age 6, and as adults at age 16. I'll post in the adoption thread regularly whenever Teefa has an upcoming litter, and once others mature I'd encourage them to do the same.

Is there anything people of this race should all know/do?:
Clouded Leogons will eat pretty much anything, though many prefer fish or fruit dishes.

As a race that starts out with every member enslaved, they are more likely to be slaves than free creatures and as such they will have very strong opinions for or against the act. As this is a race that owes its origins to Lismore, there will be no such thing as off-island Clouded Leogons unless a few are sold to off island owners and breed there, for example a second generation Clouded Leogon may have been born off island if one of Teefa's kittens is sold off as an npc this way.

They will always act in a more cattish way than a dragonish way, unless they are a Dragon Disciple. They are all incredibly clean creatures, and some may even develop obsessive compulsive disorder centered around cleaning. These examples of the species can be so off balance that they lick their own fur off, causing irritation and frequent infections.

They have incredibly short, fine, soft fur over most of their bodies, only broken by stretches of soft skin where the stripes are on a rift dragon. This fur becomes incredibly thick and fluffy on the tail and in the mane, but nowhere else. As such, they are very vulnerable to the cold and may also sunburn easily.

While they do only have four digits and those are tipped with large claws, they have very nimble fingers and as such can preform a good deal of actions that would require good manual dexterity, including playing instruments.

Backstory on race:
A race spawned from the children of one half dragon. Teefa the dragon/clouded leopard mix was assured that any children she might have would be of her exact species, a hybrid one: this seems to have passed down to the kittens in any litters while under this effect. While most crossbreed races are unstable, this one is lucky in that they are relatively simple, normal creatures with only one overreaching mental problem. They have yet to create their own history, as a newly made race.(Well, they will be made soon. this is a post ahead of time, because I already know it'll happen XD)

Culture/Typical behavior:
Clouded Leogons are typically found as slaves, having been bred from one enslaved mother. The racial need to clean things fits in well with their position in the way of things, and they make fine personal servants, even if their manner is somewhat lacking in some cases. They act like cats for much of their life, and will play in the exact same way as any other kitten when young. Many of them are habitually shy, though outspoken males do exist and some females are a bit more forward than others. Generally, males are smaller and more aggressive than females.
Xema Guardian, Jannisia Ocelot, and Shaden Opaline.

Name: Insectakin

Is this a hybrid?: Yes.

What do they look like? (Include screenshots at the bottom of this form, include avatar components here!): Too varied to list. Insectakin are as they sound - races who have successfully bred with insectoid individuals to create a hybridded offspring. There are some general guidelines that can be followed to see how the most common insectoid augmentations effect the initial race.

What abilities does this race have that makes it unique?:

Many - but some common pros and cons are as follows:

 - Wings: Some variations have been known to have wings. These wings usually hold an average wingspan, but beat quickly enough to keep the insectakin airborn, and in some cases, enough to allow them to do some hefty airlifting. Those with wings typically have a less durable body.

 - Insectoid Strength - Some variations are known to have slightly, and in some cases, dramatically high physical strength and endurance for their size. Those with incredible strength don't often see wings as well.

- Insect Carapace - A common occurance, many variations will have sparatically placed carapace on their bodies. Usually, this is comparable to a middleground between a hard wood and iron, but some variations are known to have carapace as hard as steel.

- Acid - Some variations of insectakin have the ability to expel acid from their bodies - the acid can be any degree of strength, but these same variations are also known to be unstable - a powerful blow past their carapace or too deep into their flesh can cause a spray or even explosion (in extreme cases) of this acid.

- Hellfire - Those of the Kazi Clan seem to have a natural affinity for hellfire, but only those who carry some form of insect blood. It is not entirely known if these two qualities are coincidence or not.

What must a player do to use your race?:For a regular insectakin? Make a card! For a kazi clan insectakin? Talk to me first. :)

Is there anything people of this race should all know/do? (Include things like diets here!): Insectakin breeding is /very/ difficult - as one might imagine, it is nearly impossible to get insectoid seed to take in mammal eggs and vice versa. Insectakin are largely carniverous, but not always!

Backstory on race (Optional, but highly recommended): Little is known about the origion of this hybrid-ding - nobody is even truly sure if it's possibility is natural, or was introduced to an insectoid or mammal bloodline by someone experimenting with the subject. Should it be some form of experimentation - it's hard to say who's carrying blood that'll allow them to carry insectoid children.

Culture/Typical behavior (Optional): Since the potential span of species and cultures that these insectakin can be present in is immense, they aren't considered to have a typical culture. They often, however, express many of the behavioral attributes of their insect side.

Name: Xol

Is this a hybrid?: No

What do they look like? (Include screenshots at the bottom of this form, include avatar components here!): http://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu140/Pyce/xolexample_zps43c94e1d.png

The avi is made from Avitar Planets Fox, a modified long an flexible tail, and any sort of saber/vampire fangs one can find. It is pretty simple to set up with the right editing. :3

What abilities does this race have that makes it unique?: A Xol is special in the way of how their spirit acts and reacts to what the Xol see's and does. Their spirit holding a more powerful sort of energy they call Aura (sometimes life force) in their tongue. They both respect and honor this power as it comes with great risk upon use. Other then their use of aura, they are well skilled hunters and trackers that are trained to hunt and fish at a young age to support their current tribe.

What must a player do to use your race?: Contact me with any sort of questions related to Xol's and their background if any at all. Other then that and having the right avi set up, there are no other requirements.

Is there anything people of this race should all know/do? (Include things like diets here!): Xol's are a tribal race that have little to no interaction to the modern (Lismore modern) world. They rely on each other and their skills to go on through the day and have no real concept of what money, mana, or other sorts of divine beings out there. Even the concept of doors are new to them, but despite all of these they are not mindless in any sort of the meaning. They are smart, intellegent, and adaptable with some learning the common language within a few weeks (with a thick accent still).

Mostly they are omnivores, eating both plants and meats from deer to wild berries found upon random paths. They are no strangers to cooking and expermenting with foods, so if you find one in the kitchen expect a big clean up.

Backstory on race (Optional, but highly recommended): Being a secluded race of nomads, not much is known or understood other then what has been mentioned before. To this day they still travel the southern lands in seclusion to follow the herds of game and keep to the warmer climates to harvest the local plantlife.

Culture/Typical behavior (Optional): Their culture is based around unity of both body, spirit, and population. There is no cost for service and everything is equally given and shared to those who need it. They worship a supreme being called Eth who is their God of Creation, Destruction, and Rebirth. Through Eth, they believe that what they slay and consume returns to the land as a different being through rebirth. When they die, they will also be reborn into another only if their previous body has being properly destroyed either by fire or consumption (cannibalism is not unheard of though is not promoted). If somehow they are unable to please the spirit of the deceased, it is said that the soul will not be reborn and would be cast to The Dust. A plane of existence where none exist, an eternal solitary life of hunger and loneliness.

A typical Xol is very open to people and very trusting to whoever they meet as they are such with their own tribal members. They do not know of other cultures, but they enjoy learning of new places and people. A Xol would be curious of a new surrounding and explore every part to know what purpose each building has to the point of trespassing. They do not mean ill intent during their explorations, but it sometimes gets them into trouble before learning what is and is not allowed.
