A notice has been found in the market and on the main Phoenix doors. Each note is held there by a slender dagger, clearly belonging to Zerah, for those that know her.
The notice is simple and to the point:

Lismore!

The blue furred female known as Zerah, the heir to the Dragon Isles has been kidnapped!
She will be kept unharmed for now. The ransom is 5000 gold coins, and your reply must be left with this note.

Do not attempt anything to free her, or she will be killed.

Misery, Captain in the Madfang Raiders.

(Planning more events in the future to get her free ^^)

The rescue mission for Zerah was met with limited success!

Suriel of the City Guard died in battle, bravely fighting for Zerah's freedom.
The Hero's ship was stolen during the course of the battle, and so Phoenix no longer has a seaworthy ship.
The two pirate bosses managed to escape.
