[[Brought from old forum, this is not IC knowledge unless you have spoken ICly to Feame, and been told of his past by him.  Or by any of the other characters mentioned, and you would only still get their point of view on this.  So even if you talk to them, don't think you know all these details from just one of them.  This is an outsider's/storyteller's pov on the events that have led up to the current point in Feame's life, and the lives of those around him.  will be expanded on apon popular demand.  Except for Vecks/'shadow', to which will be gladly contributed apon his death in Lismore, as that will be when I will likely feel up to typing his part.  It's long, it's crazy, and just overall a pain to type out.  Anyone else, or any details requested, are fair game.]]

Since I spotted a thread for stories, and noticed people are posting their histories, family trees, and things of the like.  I figured i will join in and post a little information that tells the tie between the 4 of my characters that will be seen in Lismore before it's all said and done [if I have my way, but at least one of them will have to be dulled down].   As well as one character of someone else.  For all those who may ask, yes I am making his RPs into an elaborate story, but no names will be said specifically [such as, if not wanted, they will be referred to as 'the leader of this place' or 'That one elf'].  This will also, hopefully, give insight to the beginnings of Feame.  If it's popular demand, I'll make point to add on to this, and further explain the paths of Feame, and my other characters.  Feame, Shadow, Scales, Tumble, Yin, and Yang.

As many had heard, Feame was not always the way he is....He came from a much more humble beginning.  And a path of war was lain out before him, before he even knew his own fate.

Feame was not an only child.  Born of a Giant, and a human, his parents had two sons.  Before their untimely demise, at the hands of 'heros' who thought they where doing good.  Their mother, the giant, who came to be known as 'Saline' [her actual name couldn't be spoken, as it was a terran [earth elemental] name.] saw the 'heros' coming.  She gave their youngest son a stone pendent marked 'new hope', and their eldest a matching pendent marked 'blade of the gods'.  The eldest, Vecks, took his brother into the woods to hide.  days passed, and they had to have food.  Vecks went out and found food each day, be it berries, fish, or whatever he could catch to eat.  It wasn't a easy way for a child of 8 to live, but he had to keep alive, and keep his brother alive.  For their parents.
One night he had left particularly late, due to not wanting to work.  But his apatite got the better of him, and he had to go after nightfall.  in his hunt, he managed to catch a few fish, and a rabbit, with a nice collection of berries for his little brother, who couldn't handle much complex foods, like meat, yet.  Only to find the bed he'd made of leaves to be empty.  A strange man in white had picked him up, and was taking him to try to find his parents.  unknowing of the brother, lurking in the woods, hunting at the time.  When Vecks went to follow the strange man, he got caught up in the arms of a demon of the night.  A vampire.  Somehow the strange man didn't see this come, and never knew of the older brother.  The brothers where now seperated....but only the older would remember the other.  Or the events that had come to pass.
While Vecks suffered a different fate, the younger was taken to a small hermit home in the woods.  After much searching, only to find no parent to take him, he chose to raise him, as his own.  The strange man.....Ezekial Whitborn Rozenrot....name his new son something he hoped would do him pride.  Fearmus Celestial Rozenrot.  Child of an angel, who would stand in the name of the red rose.  Zeke, as many called him, raised Fearmus to be a warrior.  A knight of his new order.  A dragon slayer.  Zeke's prejudices rubbed onto the child, as he woke him every morning to surprise assault.  Every day, he'd train hard, because his life was on the line.  Every night, he'd fall asleep to his 'fathers' healing.  often having to be raised from the dead.  Occasionally they would celebrate something special, like a landmark in his training, or a birthday, and [of course] holidays for the creator.  But they where rare.

Unknown to either, Vecks had been watching during one of these celebrations.  But his story is not this one.  But it will be important if his story gets asked for.

Eventually, after near 30 years of training, occasionally being put to the test against a real dragon....Fearmus had learned how to talk right, having taken after his mother, and thus not so bright.  He was a tower of a man, standing as tall as some of the trees in the forest, and big enough around he could wrap his arms about the thickest of them all.  He bore only the steel his father gave him....a poor version of his current armor.  And a large great sword apon his back.  He had become, some thought, a  true hero.  Always protecting the forest, unknowing of the demons that rested under his nose.  But time had come for them to part ways.  Him and his father.  Zeke, being a angel allowed to walk the earth, had spoken with many gods.  Bahamut....nobody knew what he was thinking that day, gave Zeke a necklace to give Fearmus.  It replaced his stone pendent.  It was Bahamut's symbol.  Zeke, being never too keen to upset a god, gave it to Fearmus, as asked.  Despite he was worried, and curious, what Bahamut had in store for his son.

[[mind you, I do not have this pendent ICly on Feame in Lismore, so if you see blinding light....it's not me.]]

The nature of the necklace came to light in the following hunt.  the pendent would shine like the sun, and Fearmus was blinded.  when he came to....he was in a strange land.  Plagued by evil dragons, criminals, and all forms of nightmarish beings.  Save the long story, but Zeke had followed....Feame went down a terrible path, rending these dragons apart by hand, in some cases, and stopping crime, with brutal efficiency.  Zeke eventually went away....and at the worst time.
Feame found himself up against a green.....Nasty swap dragon he was, he was massive.  They faught for days....Fearmus never tired.....He was intent to kill the dragon.  Eventually....he lost the winning edge, on the 8th day.....He was pined....the green was rareing to finish the annoying warrior off for good.  Out of nowhere, it'd seem, a red showed up.  The meanest, and most vial of dragons, Fearmus thought.  now he was being teamed up on?  But....the red....it nocked over a tree.  The green had to leap off, but the tree came down apon Fearumus's already beaten skull.

....Days must have gone by.....but he finally awoke.  not in the swap he was in, nor at heaven's gates, but in a cave.....a molten lair.  He was in a volcano.  Worse....the red dragon's den.  But he was wounded, badly.....he couldn't fight....he couldn't flee....he could barely stand.  He was at the dragon's mercy.
The dragon, Venithelar, turned out to be more than he seemed.  He was a loyal, and devout champion of Bahamut.  He faught against the dragons of Tiamat.  He chose to save Fearmus, because of that old necklace around his neck.  ....His lord's symbol.  They spent the next several days talking....Fearmus slowly healing from his wounds...Venithelar taught him of Bahamut, and the ways of glory, and honor.  Taught him the knight's code, and offered him a path that he may add hundreds of years to his currently fadeing life.  Call to bahamut....use the old dragon's scales to perform the right of rebirth.  become a knight of Bahamut.
Fearmus, after many days, understood this path, and choose to take it.  The title he'd been known by by the village folk, The Crimson Knight, became more true than ever.  By the end of the rebirth, he was now a red dragon, himself.  Half dragon, anyways.  The tower of a man now even more dangerous with wings and a strong tail.  But he still was not as wise.....He set out, intent to continue his quest for good.....when the pendent shone once more.

Some time later, he had come to be comfortable with his new form, as he had years to learn to use it's strength.  He found himself in an odd land...Feudal China.  He was lucky....this time....that the people here knew common.  it was frequent on their trade routes, and thus useful to know.  that was when he met Scales.  Gordious 'Scales' Scalepealer.  A samuri.  They where fast rivals, but friendly ones.  The path of Bushido against the path of a knight.  He had long sense cast aside his great blade for a sword and shield.  his defense was unbeatable.  Scales' power was amazing, but they would spar untill neither could continue.....never a decided winner.
In learning, they where allies.  in battle, they where rivals.  in the outside world, they where friends.  Just when they thought that their friendship could not be stronger, Vecks once more appeared.  Just in time to hear Fearmus called by his new name....Feame.   Feame Rose, as Scales had taken to calling him.  They now stood, side by side, against an assasin.  Vecks was intent to kill Feame.  he almost succeeded, too.....but the pendent shone once more.  At the time of the final blow.
In the next world, they had been flung apart, again.  Feame, this time, was spared.  But now, he had learned in the fight he had a brother...and for some reason, his brother was out for his life.

Many more years passed, many more attacks from his brother, and many more blinding lights had taken him to strange lands.  He still had no way to know how to get home....he didn't even know if he was in the same world, anymore.  He had faught everything from dragons, to demons, creatures that seem alian.  Beasts of all kind.  But he stood beside humans, elves, dwarves....powerful warriors from every walk of life.  Occationally coming accross other knighs of Bahamut.  many years, many adventures, and many glorious battles.  He was a drifting knight, whom had lost his home....the only way was forward.  to keep looking for his place in the world.  Seen as a monster...a heroic one, but a monster none the less.

Some years later, he stumbled apon a Feudal Japan.  It looked like his friends world.  Scales...he had hoped to find.  But he found another odd creature....A kitsune.  the first he'd ever met, and a repulsive fellow, no less.  Insulted his idea of honor, and how their way was the only way.  Said he had no honor.  Feame, as the knight he is, pursued the man.  He wanted to run his blade through him in a duel of honor.  To show this arogent, cocky little creature his place. He followed him into the forest.  But then he realized, a moment too late....he was cornered.  He was lured into a trap.  The kitsune lured him in, because he had apparently taken offense to something Feame had said.....For the life of him, he didn't remember.  They attacked....an army of kitsune spirits, the man he was after....a god.  He casted some spell, but the light....his pendent....it acted up again.  He was gone before he knew what had happened.

once more, he awoke in a new land.  This world did not have a demon to face....no monster to slay....nothing for him to kill.  No.....when he got his mind together, and roamed the land....he found his purpose.  A carnival of some kind....He could see it had packed up, and was long gone.....but there was a child.  well into his teen years, he must have been.  with odd marks on his body....blue tatoos.  this odd child....this otter....had been left for dead, and it almost worked.  The poor child....Feame had to help him.
He watched over the boy, and called the town healers in a nearby town....he payed his own gold to have a room for the child to be treated.  He came to know the kid as 'Tumble'.  He was a normal boy, save for the strange marks on his body.  He was victom to 'Mister Vecks'.....Vecks....he knew that name from somewhere.  But he worried of comforting the child, as best he could.  till he was better.  They parted ways, after that....the child chose to try to find his old family.  And Feame understood that.  He still searched for his father.   he tried to part with the child with a bit of his wisdom he'd gained over the years.  But he never saw him again.

And that's where this part of his story ends.....When he met the last of my other characters he'd ever meet.
