The Aurumcauda fennecs have approached the palace with a proposal to develop one of the properties of the crown, an old house behind the Ramau Tower, and after some negotiating, their proposal was approved.
The fennecs (with help from the Vances, who provided them marble from their quarries at discount price as part of a separate deal to allow Garnet & Ixion to marry) would build for the Crown a new tower to serve as luxury apartments - basically an extension of Fennecia to accommodate high ranking dignitaries who wish for a more discrete setting while visiting Lismore (since the palace is pretty full and Fennecia is very public) and to house some of their own people as Fennecia is also getting crowded.
The structure will be built by the fennecs and they will manage it and reap the profits from it, however ultimately the terrain where it's built is one of the Crown Properties, therefore ultimately the tower belongs to the Crown.
Ixion and Garnet are expected to take residence in the new tower and to manage its operations.
The tower still needs a name. Currently proposed names are:
- Fennecia Tower
- Marble Tower
- Ivory Tower

marble and
ivory references are because the place will be clad in white marble when finished.
