Hark, the Herald Angel sings... Winterfest is upon us once more! All the good people of Lismore and of course the esteemed guests of the lands as well are invited. Whether you know these days as Winterfest, Christmas, Yuletide or by any other name, around Lismore we all come together as one to prove that there is peace, warmth and hope in the midst of winter.
Come out of your houses, hovels and dens, dress up in warm clothing if you need to and brave the town, that changed into a little winter wonderland. There you find lights, bells and fir green all over. The pups have started to build a snowman and the scent of cookies and mulled wine is in the air. So come join us and feast, drink, dance and play with your neighbors and friends. And don't forget to ride the Winter Wonderland Carousel, which makes its first appearance on this year's Winterfest. ~Oh what fun it is to ride a unicorn tonight.~
Hungry or thirsty? The granary opened the doors for the holidays again. Our thanks are to the royal family and the nobles of the lands, who sponsored the banquet that waits for you in there. Meats, fish, fruit and all kinds of delicious pastries are piled way up high. And if you enjoy them with our special holiday eggnog, you can't help but get merry and gay in no time.
We remind all attendees of the Winterfest that the Rabbit Hole has special offers for the duration of these festive days. Aryn Gentlepaw looks forward to welcome you there - he promised to play some Christmas songs and maybe, just maybe, he will dance on the tables if his patrons prove to be good at celebrating.
See, there is really no need to hesitate. Just step outside and join us for the Winterfest!
(OOC: This is a public event. Everyone can take part, the event is going to last until the end of the first week in January. Feel free to use the various props for your RP while in the city or at the temple. There are couple dance poses given by the heart over one of the trees just outside the granary. Also you can ride the Carousel. If you want to add to the festivities with small scenes like playing music for the crowd, showing off magic tricks or spectacular skills - you are quite welcome to do so.
