A letter from Lord Athian arrives at the City Guard:
"After a nice lad named Nature informed us about the ill fate of our mushroom farm, I made some quick, cursory inspections to rule out that poisoned mushrooms hadn't already found their way into the storage area. Imagine my surprise and terror when not only the mushrooms, but other food as well showed signs of tempering. I request that you send experts on poison and - if possible - on cleansing food from such poisons to the granary as soon as you can.
Additionally I would like you to investigate how the culprits got in here. There is no obvious sign of forced entry and I don't want to believe that one of our workers could be a double agent. Perhaps your able men and women can shed some light on this issue.
For the time being I delayed all orders going out from the granary. Nothing leaves this place without a thorough inspection.
