Ani's Roles/Characters

Hello everyone! I finally decided to make a topic of this sort, basically outlining all my major or utility characters.

The first section contains my 'main' roles, or characters you can come to me right away for use of.

The second section contains my 'secondary' roles/characters, who were designed to be used for different roles in the event that you are unable to get in touch with the player who normally does the roles.

Please keep in mind that I will not magically know if you need me for something! I don't bite, IM me as needed!

PRIMARY Roles

1.) Mariah - Mariah is the high priestess of the temple. She can perform rituals, communions, blessings, purifyings and other temple-related roles, and can also perform decent magical healing. Mariah can handle most temple functions, and is the one you need to talk to if you want one of your characters' gods/goddesses to receive the temple's support. Along with the temple's other elders, Mariah can raise people into the tribe. Mariah is a possible source for quests, most geared towards missions of peace. Mariah can also perform wedding ceremonies and marry couples!

2.) Abbadon - Abbadon is the head of the city's library. He has extensive knowledge in demonology and the dark arts, and is the one to talk to if your character needs to procure a rare book. He's also been known to buy rare magical artifacts and unusual books, and can teach most languages. Abbadon can also translate obscure languages, if he's given enough time. Abbadon is a possible source for quests, usually those involving hunting down artifacts or books.

3.) Nina - Nina is the head of the blacksmith's guild. She is primarily one of the city's best smiths, capable of most projects in forging or repair. Nina is also the one to talk to for characters who plan to make longterm use of the blacksmith's facilities. Nina is a good source of side work in the city, as she will often accept work in place of gold for payment for her services. Nina will often buy rare gems or metals. She may also give quests involving delivering valuable works over long distances, potentially to dangerous areas.

4.) Arlen - Arlen is the city's head alchemist. He's your best bet for procuring many types of potions for your characters, a link leading to the alchemists' store page can be found near the bottom. Arlen is also often willing to teach alchemy to beginners, and will buy rare alchemy ingredients. He may also provide quests for players who are willing to fight dangerous beasts or venture into dangerous areas to retrieve rare ingredients.

5.) Vheljen - Vheljen lives nearby the temple, and it's publicly known that his home is open to visitors, strangers or otherwise. Vheljen has decent knowledge of demonology, but has very advanced knowledge of magic. Vheljen is one of Lismore's best enchanters, and can be commissioned to perform enchanting work anytime. Vheljen is willing to take on apprentices, though there will be a limit on how many he can teach at once. Vheljen may issue quests to have characters retrieve dangerous demonic artifacts so that they may be disenchanted/destroyed.

SECONDARY roles

1.) Lorenz - Can perform various functions for the city guard when those who normally do them are absent. May provide bounty hunter-type characters with relevant quests.

2.) Cala - Can perform various functions for cruentes. Might provide characters skilled in gathering information with work.

3.) Kami - Can perform various functions for Phoenix. Can hire characters with guard-oriented skills into a steady-paying job.

4.) Fey - Teaches combat magic at the academy, and can perform certain academy functions as needed.

5.) Moira - Will sometimes give out quests to skilled hunters to take down dangerous, aggressive beasts who wander the skylands.

6.) Miss Renown - Xahu's bodyguard, Miss Renown may pay characters to investigate possible threats to Xahu, or the royal family in general.

7.) King Cortez - King of the crimson empire. May provide quests to tough groups of characters to root out Lanzer's loyalist soldiers who remain resistant after Lanzer's death.

8.) King Stonefall - King of the steel isles. May provide quests to tough groups of characters to defeat evil dragons, or to liberate captured dragons.

9.) Princess Brielle - Crown princess of the crimson empire, may ask able-bodied characters to help rebuild the many independent towns/cities/villages who were devastated by lanzer's underhanded conquering.

Again, if you need any of these characters, please IM me so I know! I love rping and wouldn't mind some chances to do it more often, so you're not bothering me in the slightest.

If anyone else needs to make a list of this nature for their characters, post away and i'll be glad to rename the topic as soon as i'm able.
