By the time this account is told around, it might sound something like this...
Sometime late in the Year 11 of the 4th Age of Lismore, the brave adventurers Djoser Vance and his companion in adventure ShaRroos the Guardswoman valiantly - no, heroically! - they ventured into the dark depths of the caves beneath Lismore, seeking to vanquish a fearsome beast that was rumored to terrorize miners there, and to retrieve a lost treasure stashed away by unknown hands during the reign of Lord Lucian!
Finding their way through the darkness, through the lava pools, and the fire and brimstone heavy in the air, they bravely resisted the temptation from the Sirens of Phoenix, trekking their way through mysterious narrow passages, through the eternal night of the caverns, only able to reach their destination thanks to the magic of the fennecs who bestowed upon them the mighty gift of a light crystal, and there in the deepest, darkest chamber beneath the earth, they found the fearsome Beast of Zee-an, a colossal monster of blood red tass that glowed in the dark like the eerie memory of the life of those whose lives it claimed before, contrasting with its pitch-black skin, as dark as the Abyss itself!
Djoser and ShaRroos fought gallantly against the creature! Its might was that of a demon of the ancient world, from a time when Balrogs rode dragons into battle and elf lords enlisted the help of the gods themselves to save the Earth! The beast was made in the twisted image of its creator, Lord Zee-an the Lord of Necromancers, or so it claimed! But it was no match for ShaRroos bow of burning gold and arrows of destruction! She unleashed volley after volley of straight and true shots at the monster, while Djoser attacked the creature with his bare hands, tearing its limbs right off until the duo smote the beast and laid its ruin upon the cavern floor!
As befitting of a manabeast, however twisted it was in its constitution and mind, the creature exploded once it was defeated, but not even that could put a damper in our heroes, who faced the explosion head-on and with their eyes open!
The treasure now belonged to them, and they used it to bring wealth and prosperity to those in need!

Djoser the demon Vance used his demonic powers to persuade the virtuous and pure lady ShaRroos to go on a suicide mission for him in order to steal some gold from the caves beneath Lismore!
To make sure she remained under his control, the demon foxramau followed her from a safe distance. ShaRroos fought a mindless manabeast construct that was left to guard the treasure, almost losing her life! As befitting of a manabeast, when it died, it exploded, and not even the coward Djoser who stayed at a safe distance escaped some injury when that happened. Djoser then stuffed the unconscious ShaRroos clothes full of gold, and piled up some more gold on top of her and dragged her through the caves, abandoning her in front of the Phoenix brothel as he went in to party with the prostitutes and squander his newfound fortune! It's said Xela now has all the gold and ShaRroos has permanently lost her hearing!
The real story is that Djoser hired ShaRroos to go with him into the caves to find a lost treasure from the days of Old Lismore, and there was a golem made by Lord Xian way back in the day guarding the area. They fought the golem and mostly because they got lucky managed to defeat it without dying! They did find the gold and jewels they went there for, though!
