Since I haven't heard of a single person NOT having this problem, I wanted to make a quick PSA to let people know that you can fix the occurrence of an avatar showing on certain viewers as being thousands of meters away, when they're really right next to you, by swapping your active group to a different one and then swapping it back. This fixes the problem pretty much every time.
Don't ask me what active groups have to do with avatar positioning.
