[11:03] A glowing, blue light starts to make itself apparent in the skies.. Suddenly, beams of violent blue energy rocket down from the distance light, crashing into the ground near the temple, and in the middle of the city.. pools of ice start to form in either, and figures begin to rise from the icy pools..
[11:03] Kata Misashi would point to the blacksmith's building, "...that one... quickly... move and keep your ears... hu.. huh?"" looking to the light
[11:11] The icy creatures start to form from the puddle of ice, the archers from both factions raise their bows and draw strings.. Ten icy-looking fliers head for the towers, five attempting to dive bomb the Zenko archers on the balcony of the first building, another five trying to attack the guards in the towers.. More minions form on the ground, quite a few, slowly marching their way towards the grounded defenders, sharp appendages at the ready.. None of them look particularly sturdy.
[11:12] Jay Voncloud growls seeing the creatures form from the ice, he holds his right claw out to form a spell, his left throwing forward "ARCHERS!, Fire on those fliers!"
[11:14] Xela springs into action as enemys begin to appear. Not waiting for them to form, she draws one of her daggers and moves to run up the steps towards Zenko, dropping the dagger on the ground near Kata as she passes. Once up the first steps, she turns left and makes her way through the vineyard to leap onto the awning and into the smith below. Assuming she has time before foes decent upon her, she draws a second dagger and her sword, shoving her sword blade into the hot coals while readying her dagger to defend herself.
[11:19] Kata Misashi would blink as Xela dropped the dagger; looking at it for a moment before perking his ears, "...wa.. wait..." feeling around as his belt felt rather empty, "..fuck..." quickly reaching for it...
[11:21] Day'ath smirks and pulls her whip, going to whip at the fliers she attacks the first one she see's, razor sharp blades on the end of the whip would most likely shatter or rip through the flier, she, after whiping the first one would pull her whip back and accidently and unknowingly hit one behind her as the fliers attack at the archers then pulls her whip back again to where she had it in her paw, making sure not to hit the guard around her and giggles a bit
[11:30] Lorenz shouts out orders for the archers to join the fire on the fliers, and between the volley of arrows and Day'ath's attack, all ten would be destroyed almost immediately.. The pool of ice starts to stir again, slowly, as the sixty-odd ground minions finally reach the defenders, the front line starting to attack those they could get close to.. Lorenz fends off as many as he can from the archers as they nock new arrows.
[11:33] Jay Voncloud seemed happy enough from the arrows, but now had his paws full with the minions, his paw was already charged, throwing his paw forwards, a superheated lightning bolt flying form his paw right into one of the Ice creatures, burning a hole where its belly is. Much to the foxs disbleif, the creature keeps advancing "wha...?"
[11:38] Xela keeps herself crouched low, trying to hide behind the anvil next to the forge, holding onto her sword in her right hand as she waits for it to heat up. She keeps quiet and still, not wishing to blow her position untill she is ready.
[11:39] Kata Misashi would growl as the minions came forward before creating a hand seal and starting his chant; "NIN, PYOH, THOU..."
[11:41] Day'ath laughs as she jumps over the railing seeing the flires gone she goes to whip the icy minions down below slashing 3 in half as they fall and burst to peices on the ground before she hits the ground like a cat landing on her feet and doing a forward barral roll almost to where Xela was not noticing Xela she wouldn't blow her cover, she bursts out laughing and smirks and says after calming down a bit "this is too easy..."
[11:41] Ghost Lamp took a step back as the creatures started to advance, drawing his heavy iron wand as they advanced. "Ice, now? Hmmm... most of my spells won't do anything against something like this... Where is Shaden when I need him..." He assumed a stance as one of the minions drew near, swinging his wand at its head- a blast of force from the tip of the wand would strike whatever he hit as though struck a blow from an iron mace.
[11:46] The archers fired another volley, taking down several creatures from each of the three groups.. They'd be upon the defenders now, however, actively lashing out at them with sharp, bladed appendages Lorenz dispatches a pair attempting to get to the archers. More forms start to rise from the pool of ice, the pool losing some of it's glow as more fliers start to, but don't quite finish forming.
[11:48] Jay Voncloud growls as more minions form from the pool, flowing his paw around again, he thrusts his paw forward again, a longer chain of lightning striking at the golum, making it shake before exploding into tiny icy bits, with drawing his paw the fox unsheaths his sword as he sidesteps a strike from another
[11:52] Xela grimaces as Day lands nearby before perking her ears as she hears the sounds of engagement from the direction of the archers. She tightens her grip on her sword before leaping up, jumping off the table and over the wall before she begins to swing her red hot blade through as many foes as she can.
[11:53] Kata Misashi would continue his chant as he shifted his eye's to look around at the battle, "...SHA, KAI, JIN..." blinking at Xela's actions
[11:54] Day'ath blinks and being as Agile as she was dodged the seemingly slow attacks the icy ones had to bring catching a few icy apendages with her whip here and there to stagger or compleatly stop their attack in their tracks she backs off a bit seeing them push forward and gulps "ok, i stand corrected, little tougher than i thought since theres so darn many!" she giggles seeming to be back far enough from them she swipes the whip at some of the front linemen's legs and cracks them making a few here and there fall and shatter on the ground she blinks and looks over to Xela, surprised at her bursting out of her cover she unknowingly gets a hit to the shoulder "GAH!" seemingly it wasn't too deep but it was a cut all the same
[11:55] Ghost Lamp turns and avoids a clumsy strike from one of the creatures. His expression was more amused than annoyed. As he let out a howl, and those nearby (except for Xela) would feel something distinctly... wrong. Their attention would soon be diverted from that feeling as four truely massive tentacles sprouted from the back of his robes, wrapping around the necks of the nearest four minions and smashing their heads together
[11:58] A total of ten minions would be destroyed by the defender's attacks, a further 10 destroyed between lorenz and the archers.. The fliers finally finish forming and break off from the pool, as two more groups of twenty minions start to form from the pool, weakening it's glow further. The ten new fliers take off from the pool, attempting to dive bomb any and all defenders, their bodies small, but sharp.
[12:01] Jay Voncloud pants dodging the blows, bringing his blade up to slice the arms off the minion that was attacking him, he looks up seeing the new minions forming, with a growl he boots the unarmed minions (see what i did there?) before flicking his paw at one of the new creatures, his bolt ricocieting between 4 of them causing mild damage "Theres so many.."
[12:05] Xela continues her aggressive attack, ignoring the other two nearby as she focuses on her foes. She swings the dagger in her left paw at one minion, plunging it into its shoulder and cutting downwards as she shoves it out of the way before she swings the heated blade into another two becide it. Surprise would register on her face as the heated blade does little to make the job easia, giving one of the fliers a chance to swoop and slash accross the side of her head, earning a yelp of pain as her cheek and ear is wounded.
[12:05] Kata Misashi would blink as a couple of the ice minions made it to his position; taking a step back and rsuhing to finish the chant, "...RETSU, ZAI, ZEN.. GAHH!" getting slammed over to the wall of the guardhouse...
[12:06] Day'ath blinks and looks to the fliers but makes sure in the corner of her eye there wasn't any minions taking slices at her, she does some acrobatic flips backwards and being out of range of everyone else would swish her whip around like a medieval flail and swings it at the fliers that where following her to atempt dive bombing at her, she whips at them and makes them crack in mid air "naaa dont give up hope now! we can kill them all day if we have to!" she laughs, she loved fighting... it made her quite happy!
[12:06] Ghost Lamp looked up as the fliers swooped down, one of his tentacles grabbing the first, throwing it at the nearest minion on the ground. the remain three grabbed a minion that close it, using it like a mace to bludgeon two more. He turned to strike another with his wand, unused to fighting in such close quarters. He came up short as his wand swung two far, sliding down the bladed appendage as the point plunged into his right chest. "Gyah.... bastard..." Blood dribbled from the wolf's mouth, but he didn't stumble. "Give me a hand!"
[12:09] Tukaram trots up out of the tavern, bottle of vodka in one paw, and sees the ice minions. he draws his sword and mutters, "they're trying to steal my wodka again..." he decides to leap into the air and wing his way arond the building the long way, taking troubles to stay low in an attempt to remain unseen and make his way toward Lorenz.
[12:14] Another 20 in total would be destroyed by the defender's attacks, Lorenz barely manages to divert a flier's dive bomb to his shoulder plate, the pieces of ice that break off cutting his muzzle slightly, the archers switching to melee momentarily in a desperate attempt to strike back at some of the fliers that managed to make it through the defenders.. Two of the archers, one from each faction would be struck by the fliers, incapacitating them. The second set of icy minions formed from the puddle, another 40, as the remaining 8 fliers continue to try and terrorize the archers. Lorenz points to the fliers, "We're going to lose our archers, try and take them out!"
[12:14] Lismore Weather Service: The weather has changed, it now is: Snowing w/ Hale.
[12:16] Jay Voncloud looks up at it hales then to the ammasing minions, he growls and shouts to the archers "FALL BACK!, Everyone move back to the plain, we will be over run here" He barks, placing his sword back in his sheath, then starts charging a spell between his paws, his crystals glowing brightly
[12:20] Xela backs up quickly from the growing mass of foes as blood drips from her wounded ear. Panting from the exertions of her earlier attack, she begins to make her way back from the advancing line, checking the skys before casting her look around the area. "Bear!" she shouts out as she sees him, "Bullrush as many as you can then back away, try and halt their advance to give the archers time to retreat. Wolf, use your tentacle things.. clear the skys if you can" she orders, "Cat and I will try and catch any ground forces that get past" and with these orders, she readies herself to aid with the retreat, hoping her orders will be followed.
[12:30] Day'ath blinks and looks over to Ghost "HANG ON!" she runs over to the minion stabbing at Ghost as she whips at it, cracking its limbs and makes it chip and eventually fall to peices, making sure she didnt hit Ghost as she has had practice with the whip and apple trees, she knew how to use one! after she goes to defend him trying to keep the rest away from Ghost as he seems injured now... more than her at that! "you ok?" she asks Worriedly perking her ears to Jay then smirks looking over to the minions "Death sounds like Day'ath today hehehe RUN, i'll hold them back for a bit, i'll catch up!" she swishes her whip a full 360 around her backing up slowly as the army of minions approch keeping them back sortof with an almost shielding whip effect making sure to whip over any Defenders nearby to not hit them either trying to cover the retreat starting to feel her cut bleed out a bit more now on her shoulder, not seeming to worried about it at the moment...
[12:31] Ghost Lamp grabs the two closest minions with his tentacles, throwing them sideways into the approaching ranks in an attempt to slow them down. His technique dissolved as Dayath gave him time to retreat, clutching the wound in his chest. He really didn't seem quite as hobbled as someone normally would with an injury like that, though it was drooling blood down his chest.
[12:39] Tukaram drops to the ground, slipping a few steps on the ice before regaining his grip on the ground. he looked to Lorenz, "I had to save my wodka!" he offered as an explanation for why he had taken so long. he clutched a bottle in his paw and held his sword in the other. upon hearing Xela call out to him, he looked at the ground and a film of anger slowly slid over his face. "They will freeze my wodka... i canot drink if it is ice..." with every word his expression grew angrier. Suddenly something in him appeared to snap and he looked murderously at the minions. He wrapped his wings around himself protectively, forming a makeshift shield that covered his front only, put his shoulder down and charged straight toward the center of the horde of ice minions intending to ram right into them, he yelled, "RAAAAAAAAH!!!" his sword was held low in his right hand and the bottle clutched in his left like a club, "STAY AWAY FROM MY WODKA!"
[12:43] Kata Misashi would groan a little before growling; electricity crackling around his body as he brought down his mask a gave the signal for ambush; letting out a loud whistle, "...NOW!".
[12:45] The light that had first appeared in the sky when the attack had started rapidly starts to descend towards the field, and rests over the pond.. No more ice minions start forming, but Lorenz repeated the order for his charges, and after scooping up the wounded, the archers jumped and climbed out of the towers, backing towards the steps as the minions' numbers continued dropping.. Before, rather suddenly, the remaining minions would fall and crash to the ground, only a threat of frostbite now.
[12:47] Ghost Lamp sighed heavily, looking around with a hand clutched to his chest. "It would seem that the master has fallen." He sighed. "Oh well, they probably wouldn't have realed anything too interesting anyway... "
[12:47] Day'ath blinks "WOW HAHA! that was just awesome!" she giggles then clutches her bloodied shoulder "owe i still feel that, damn icical thing GAH still fun though..."
[12:48] Xela frowns as the minions suddenly drop, watching the ice for a few moments before she looks around, "Whats the situation? Everyone ok?" she asks, "I'm going to Zenko, so I can scout the area from the walls"
[12:48] Jay Voncloud cancles his spell "get the wounded tot he temple
[12:49] Tukaram shouts at the dropping minions, "NO! No one gets my wodka!" he sheathed his sword and turned to the others, "Is MY wodka!"
[12:49] Day'ath puts her whip away and whipes her paws "heh, my job is done, anyone have a bag of medical suplies? i can help heal!" she grins
[12:49] Lorenz nods his head.. He looks to Jay. "I imagine that light over by the pond is our objective.. I can handle the recovery if you take the others to finish this."
[12:50] Ghost Lamp starts to head towards on of the wounded Archers, then stumbles and nearly falls to the frozen ground himself, looking at the blood soaking the front of his robe. "Damn... already?"
[12:50] Xela perks her good hear and moves over to Jay and Lorenz to see the light being spoken of. "We've one wounded and two mentally ill over by the forge. I'll go with you, Jay"
[12:51] Jay Voncloud nods "those who can, follow me" he takes off towards the light
[12:52] Day'ath blinks "uhmm did you just call me mentally ill?" she grins "if you did that be the best complament i got all day" she laughs "hell i'll go with Jay! if no one wants me here to help the people here?"
[12:52] Tukaram walks over toward the group, taking a swig of his prized vodka and says nothing
[12:53] Jay Voncloud leads the group towards the light
[12:54] Ghost Lamp staggers after them
