End-Of-The-War Party

Hi everyone! On the heels of the announcement of this final siege, i'm sure a lot of families and friends are taking on a renewed stress and worry at the thought that our loved ones will one more time be risking their lives in this war.

Both in the interest of helping our friends on the front know that we're not spending ALL our time worrying, and to ensure that the end of the war and the return to peace are celebrated properly, I would like to announce my intent to host a massive party the likes of which Lismore, perhaps the entire skylands has never seen. I have not yet determined the number of days this party will run nor the full extent of the content it will possess! Below i'll be listing some approved plans and a growing list of performers, as well as the various types of food and drink that will be available. Please do feel free to post a notice here for any ideas or contributions you want to make!

The date is to be determined, pending our alliance's victory in the war.

List of approved plans:

A fountain will be constructed temporarily in the city, and will be filled with a special drink, uniquely mixed of red wine, brandy and a variety of chopped fruits. The fountain will be stocked throughout the party and is free to all who are of age to drink from.

Various small snacks such as grapes, berries, cherries and popped corn will be strung all about the buildings of the city, meant to be eaten as people walk by so that food is never more than arm's reach away!

Special foods and beverages that will be available;

Royal Desert Mead - Mead crafted personally by the queen of the Renegades Alliance, has a bolder flavor and stronger punch than normal mead!

Bluepelt Rum - An extremely potent rum created by Sid, the first mate of the Skycutter Airship. The rum is more potent than simple alcohol can really justify, and while it is safe to drink, it can floor the sturdiest of warriors and the most experienced pirates!

Flaming Fennec - A special, fruity, fiery cocktail created by our own local bar tabby! Warning: May contain traces of catnip.

Crimson Empire Battle Brew - A stunningly red strawberry ale, inflected with the taste of strawberry but not having much sweetness so as not to ruin the favor. Another fairly strong drink, passed around often by Crimson Empire Soldiers following a successful battle.

Winter Fox Russian Vodka - A specialized reserve vodka from Mariah's hometown, brought to Lismore for the party by her father.
