~this sample character card illustrates how you could fill out the various fields describing your character's characteristics. If you have questions, please IM anyone in the sim's staff and ask about it~
►this sample character would be considered an everyday John level character. He has some skills and some abilities but nothing extraordinary, and most are concentrated towards intellect or craftsmanship. Your character can have less stats, or more, but remember to keep it balanced, overpowered characters require revisions and delay the approval process◄

Natural Abilities:

-Enhanced Hearing: John can hear very well above average human hearing.
►remember that the maximum hearing distance is 20 meters and just because you have good hearing doesn't mean you can hear through stone walls◄

-Enhanced Sense of Smell: John can track and identify scents with his nose pretty much the way a wolf in the wild would.

-Enhanced Vision: John sees very well in the dark, above average human sight.

-Strength: John is average built, like any average human.

-Endurance: John is in good physical shape but heavy tasks or working for long periods of time will tire him out quickly.

Fighting Abilities:

-Claws and Teeth: As an anthro feline, John comes with built-in weapons in the form of his claws and his teeth. He can deliver powerful  bites and leave gashes on skin with his claws.

-Average Hand-to-Hand Fighter: John can kick and punch and bite, but there is no technique to his methods. If needed, he would thrash and kick and punch and bite but nothing says he would do well at it.

Skills:

-Cooking: John can cook a pretty good meal given the proper ingredients.

-Woodworking: John is a journeyman carpenter.

-Weaponsmith: Bob has enough knowledge/skill with the crafting of weapons that he can maintain and repair his own equipment and that of others as long as the task is not forging a whole new weapon.

-Surviving in the Wild: John can hunt small prey and knows most berries and plants that can be eaten in the wild without making you sick.

-Reading and Writing: John can read and write in Common.

Disadvantages:

-Gambler: Given the opportunity, John will take on wagers and will gamble his last penny in hope that Lady Luck will be on his side and he will strike rich.

-Hemophobic: The sight of blood - anthro blood, animal blood is another story - makes him quizzy. He can go from being very uncomfortable, to having an emotional break down, to fainting, depending on the situation and the amount of blood.

-Supersticious: He doesn't walk under a ladder, the number 13 frightens him, he tosses spilled salt over his shoulders, and he's wary of black cats. He believes in good luck charms and bad luck hexes.

They can be anything from little quirks (like having the urge to right your name with a knife on every table you sit at), to outright deficiencies (like being blind, or missing a limb or default function). The disadvantages can be physical or psychological. Being mortal or 'normal' are not disadvantages unless you are of a race where those wouldn't be normal conditions!◄

Background Story:

John is your ordinary everyday guy. He was born in Lismore, grew up in the city, and hangs around and likes to have fun. Occasionally he follows people into adventures, but not being a fighter, or a mage, or a hero of any sort, his contribution is mostly offering moral support and cheering for those he cares about.
He works on the sawmill during the day, and at night enjoys the nightlife at the bar, and has the bad habit of losing (or winning!) money.

►your background story can be as simple or as complex as you want. It can have elements from the current RP plots going on in Lismore, or it can be simply your character with its previous background made up by yourself, arriving at Lismore. Mostly we like to have an idea where your character comes from and what are his motivations and goals◄
