A boat, filled with wood and set aflame, could have been seen by anyone drifting out of the mouth of the river by the Temple today. It drifted aimlessly for a while before being taken by the tide and vanishing over the horizon, out to sea.
Those who looked closely would note that this was the funeral pyre of one Siobhan Flood.
