This is just a quick reference sheet to note down what the Caravanserai has earned through InGame RP and/or resources they obtain through trade, production and storage:
Money and Valuables
- 370g of gold purchased in exchange for silver
- 30 kg of silver or 3000 silver coins gained for 1 sizable ruby gemstone and a few other gemstones they traded in for silver at Lismore.
Food and Consumables
- ~40kg of assorted dried meats
- (A lot of) Cheaper non-perishable foodstuffs and pre-cooked bugs
- A consistent, but relatively small quantity of homebrewed beer.
- Currently able to maintain a stable level of supplies needed for camel and goat maintenance.
- Two female Nubian goats + 1 female goat owned by the royal family (and 1 male for breeding) produce 6-7 cups of milk each, three times a day, every day, for a consistent supply of between ~54-63 decilitres of goat milk per day.
- About half the collected goat milk every day is budgeted for cheese production.

Being a fairly "international" settlement, currencies accepted are: gold, silver, copper and bronze.
Values are weighed with deben (weighing about 91 grams) and qedet (one 10th of a deben, so roughly 9.1 grams).
All coins are assumed to be 10 grams (for simplicity's sake). Silver is much more valuable than gold in the Sahara. Copper and bronze are not nearly as valuable.
Current value comparisons for silver & gold, bronze & copper & gold in KQ
1 Silver ~= 6 Gold & 3 Copper
88 Copper ~= 1 Gold
52 Bronze ~= 1 Gold
Bartering with merchandise is also accepted, and encouraged, as Qalasian economy primarily revolves around this.
Though silver, copper & bronze have their estimated gold value listed here, they don't represent the sale of these materials for gold, and direct exchanges between different kinds of coins are subject to regulation and royal approval either by the King or the Vizier, or alternatively other appointed reviewers.
