Title: Foxramaus
Post by: Ashtyn on June 01, 2017, 05:09:43 am
Foxramaus are Lismore's own brand of demons. They were created by Tenaar Feiri as an original species. Foxramaus descend from Fenramaus, another demonic species created by Tenaar Feiri with similar traits, however, foxramaus are largely considered an upgrade to the race.

Pure-blood foxramaus possess the following physical features:

Foxramaus are highly fertile and capable of interbreeding with most other species. The resulting offspring can have countless mixing and variations of the original attributes, but the foxramau ear-tufts will almost always be present, followed by the foxramau double-tails almost as certain as the ear-tufts.

Pure-blood foxramau magical abilities can vary significantly from one individual to another, but they all always possess magical abilities and a few traits are invariable:

Psychology:

Hybrid, non-pure-blood individuals may possess variations of these attributes or be missing them altogether. But if your character is a pure-blood foxramau, they are subject to these rules as there is very little variation within species.
Note that non-demonic Foxramau, regardless of heritage, are generally not considered pure-blood, and are not known to emerge from a union between two purebred Foxramau parents.

Over the past year or so, the whole corruption thing has become a matter of considerable OOC confusion. I want to be clear that our guidelines generally work as follows; UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED IN A CARD, this is how corruption works for all demons.

People can certainly choose to card theirs to work differently, but otherwise, this here is how corruption works, just like how we assume fire burns and spreads a certain way.

It is okay for different characters to have different types of corruption, but it's not okay for us to have individual definitions for how general corruption works.
